California Fawn Lily/Erythronium californicum

Lilies are edible and bears especially like them in spring. Also known as Addler's Tongue, Glacier LIly, or Dogtooth Violet.
Fawn Lilies bloom once a year in the springtime. The leaves look like little fawn's ears standing up, but the bud looks
strangely like the flying saucers in the original 'War of the Worlds'.
